We were in Florence for 12 days, and on our last three days, we discovered, Gelateria SottoZero. WOW, what a find! The gelato was AMAZING, but our interaction with Julia made our visit memorable. Julia has the sweetest smile and was so kind, her happiness was contagious, and we left each visit with a smile. We have already told everyone that when they go to Florence, this is a MUST stop. THANK YOU Julia for being so kind and patient with us silly Americans!!
This is the original, family owned and run SottoZero in Florence (not the chain Gelaterie). Simply delicious ice ream, the TRUE gelati experience. My coconut gelato had yummy bits in it and textured beautifully! Premium customer service by Julia, who was so patient and friendly with us and took the time to describe the flavours in English and Spanish!! Top place, a must visit if in Florence.
Superb Ice-cream one of the best always fresh, polite service and perfectly prepared the ice cream and cream bun was a special treat , for once we even bought a take away €20 a kilo Yummy
